Reticulata (Kothala Himbutu) Extract
Perhaps one of the best herbs used for diabetes. A study found
that Salacia reticulata improved insulin resistance reduced obesity,
and stabilized glucose metabolism (1). Also found to contain an
extremly potent alpha-glucosidase inhibitor (2) (used to treat
diabetes). It is also used in Ayurvedic medicine to prevent obesity and
skin diseases (3).
